This book is an uplifting, easy-to-read guide to transforming emotional trauma established in early childhood. We are all unconsciously controlled by the emotional patterns and core beliefs instilled in us by our parents, and they usually express themselves in not-very-productive ways. This book can help you change all that. First, it helps you understand the science behind how these emotional patterns are established, and then helps you identify which ones you may be unconsciously expressing. Next, it offers practical, actionable exercises to help you heal this old trauma and reinvent yourself into a healthier and happier person. I particularly appreciated the variety of healing modalities that were covered so that you can find the one that’s right for you. If you have a hurt inner child, this book is a great resource for you!

I was excited to read this book because I’ve often wondered if my insecurities today are due to unresolved trauma from my childhood. Just knowing that, in fact, they probably are, is worth its weight in gold. What was interesting to me in this book is that sometimes things that affect us later in life we don’t even recall from our childhood. They are tucked away in our subconscious. It’s no wonder so many people feel insecure and struggle as they become adults. Just being armed with this information should help people to understand themselves and their behavioral tendencies a little better. I appreciate the 110-page workbook very much. It’s quite comprehensive and detailed, and full of helpful exercises and eye-catching graphics. My only criticism of the main book is that the dense reading material is not broken up with visuals, so it takes a lot of concentration. But the information it contains is very, very good.
