Interesting take on not just “dealing with” an ADHD team member, but actively and consciously deciding you’ll take advantage of their unique brain. Instead of framing it as a negative, it points out all the ways how ADHD in your team can help the team forward rather than hold it back. It requires some effort to work through but the value is there. Good for any leader, but I think also for coworkers who want to better understand their teammates so they can cooperate better.

It’s super interesting to find a leadership book that treats ADHD as a strength instead of a weakness. I found the advice fascinating, especially the communication scripts and ideas for structuring workspaces and remote teams. It’s focused on what actually might work in the workplace. A great read for managers who want to build more innovative and inclusive teams.

This book is essential reading for employers, human resource leaders, and business owners seeking to understand how to leverage the neurodiverse thinking of ADHD employees. It provides guidance on developing innovative products, growing the company, and shaping the workplace of the future. The author effectively highlights the significant benefits for businesses that employ individuals with ADHD. Practical tips are offered for recruiting, welcoming, and helping these individuals thrive. The book also demonstrates how common ADHD challenges—such as time management, mental clarity, and performance insights—can become strategic advantages. One of my favorite parts of the book is Chapter 5 – ADHD at Work – Pinpointing the Challenges and Unlocking Solutions. This chapter explains how to structure the role of an ADHD project manager to boost productivity. I especially like the recommendation to assign distinct colors to different tasks on calendars, turning project plans into well-defined, practical steps: red for planning, green for executing, and blue for review and follow-up.
